I have long worked in the space between a strategy that sounds right and a system that has to work across real organizations. That has meant sitting with data platforms, analytics teams, architecture questions and the human realities that surround change.
Much of my work has involved modernization: making data estates more useful, helping teams agree on meaning, strengthening governance and creating the conditions for AI/ML to be used responsibly. The technology matters, but the reason for doing it matters more.
“If we have more data, better analytics and more powerful AI, why is it still so hard to make a consistently good decision?”
That question led me to Decision Intelligence. I see it as a way of connecting trusted data, semantic meaning, intelligence, human judgment, decisions, outcomes and learning without pretending that any one layer can solve the whole problem.
